Entrance Counseling for Federal Direct Loans

Entrance counseling is an information session required by the federal government to inform you of your rights and responsibilities as a federal loan borrower. In order to credit Federal Loan funds to your term bill or student account, you must complete entrance counseling.

You are required to print and return the following:
The Post Quiz Form, which is available from the "You're Done!" page after you click the "Show Form for Printing" button.

NOTE: Make sure to click the "Proceed" button on the "Congratulations" page to complete the process. Read your rights and responsibilities carefully. After you add Rutgers as a school, you will see the "You're Done!" page.
You will need to answer to answer 12 to 15 questions correctly to complete the Entrance Counseling Quiz successfully.
You have three attempts to successfully complete the Entrance Counseling Quiz online. After the third attempt, please contact the Office of Financial Aid for further assistance.
